OnAir applies an additional cost to the aircraft ownership fees if you own more than 5 aircraft.
The overhead cost factor depends on the total number of aircraft you own and is calculated as follows:
(Number of Aircraft – 5) / 100
This value is capped at 0.3 to limit extreme scaling for very large fleets.
For a fleet of 35 aircraft, the additional cost calculation is:
((35 – 5) / 100) × Combined Aircraft Price × 1.95%
((30 / 100) × Combined Aircraft Price) × 1.95%
(0.3 × Combined Aircraft Price) × 1.95%
The Combined Aircraft Price is the total fleet value, based on the “Max Price” shown on the Aircraft Market list when searching for aircraft.
This ensures that larger fleets incur a realistic management overhead, reflecting the added complexity of maintaining and coordinating a multi-aircraft operation.
