Some pilots can only fly at night in real life — but prefer to experience daytime flights in OnAir.
To make that possible, OnAir includes a feature called the Company UTC Offset.
The Company UTC Offset allows you to shift the in-simulator time used by OnAir, so you can fly during daylight or night conditions whenever you want.
For example:
💡 This change only affects your local simulator time — it does not alter OnAir’s economy, job timers, or other players’ experience.
You can modify your company’s default UTC Offset from the settings menu:
Go to:
Options → Preferences → Company Configuration → Company Control Panel → Company UTC Offset
Adjust the value (in hours) to match your desired local simulation time.
All your future flights will use this offset automatically.
🧭 Example: Setting the offset to +4 will make your simulator display a time 4 hours ahead of the real-world UTC during all OnAir flights.
If you prefer to change the time for one specific flight only, you can do it directly from the Route section when preparing your aircraft.
Use the Flight UTC Offset box to modify the time just for this session.
This allows you to fly in daylight or night conditions without altering your company’s default configuration.
💡 Perfect if you want to quickly adjust your flight time without changing global settings.
