When enabling Realistic Procedure Mode in your simulator settings, OnAir evaluates your flight performance using a detailed scoring system.
Your Flight Score directly affects both your company reputation and the XP earned during the flight.

If Flight Score ≥ 50%, you gain a reputation bonus.
If Flight Score < 50%, you receive a reputation penalty.
The calculation is as follows:
[FLIGHT_SCORE_REPUTATION_IMPACT] = (([FLIGHT_SCORE] * 2) – 1) * [FLIGHT_BASE_REPUTATION_IMPACT]
Example:
If your flight score is 70% and your flight distance was 250 NM:
[FLIGHT_BASE_REPUTATION_IMPACT] = sqrt(250) / 10000 = +0.15%
[FLIGHT_SCORE_REPUTATION_IMPACT] = ((70% * 2) – 1) * 0.15% = +0,06%
✅ Total Reputation Gain:
0.15 + 0.06 = +0.21%
Performing your flight safely and smoothly awards XP bonuses.

Granted when landing under Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) —
visibility under 1600 meters or cloud base below 1000 ft AGL during approach.
Q: What happens if I disable Realistic Procedures?
➡️ The XP and reputation impacts from flight scoring will not apply, but you can still earn normal XP and job rewards.
Q: Do Realistic Procedures affect AI flights?
➡️ No. Only flights tracked by a human pilot in a connected simulator are scored.
Q: Why did I lose reputation even though I landed safely?
➡️ If your flight score dropped below 50% due to penalties (hard landing, overspeed, no lights, etc.), a malus is automatically applied.
Q: How do I earn the IMC or Night bonus?
➡️ Simply complete a safe landing under the required weather or time conditions — OnAir detects it automatically.
✈️ Flying with Realistic Procedures rewards discipline, accuracy, and smooth handling — turning every flight into a professional challenge!
